The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, in partnership with the State Rehabilitation Council, would like to extend our great appreciation to the CNMI Community and its partners for their valuable contributions towards the WIOA Unified State Plan.

The Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Portion of the Unified State Plan is developed by OVR to describe the disability services and supports it provides and identify areas where service delivery can be improved, modified, or enhanced. The State Plan demonstrates OVR's commitment to empowering individuals to prepare to enter the workforce, maximize employability, and independence.

The VR Portion of the Unified State Plan focuses on increasing employment and promote independence among eligible individuals with disabilities throughout the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

In addition, this year, the CNMI OVR will be conducting its tri-annual Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA) of the rehabilitation needs of individuals with disabilities in the CNMI. The results of the CSNA will be used to shape the program's goals and objectives and its policies and planning efforts. If you have any questions regarding the State Plan or the triennial CSNA, please contact the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
